Accessibility Statement
Sun Star V.I.P (Authorized Dealer No. 212256564), which operates the service under the name Sun Star V.I.P, regards the accessibility of its service and website as part of the service itself, and works so that every person can obtain information and contact us independently, conveniently and on an equal basis.
The standard this site follows
The site has been adapted in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 at conformance level AA, which adopts the World Wide Web Consortium’s WCAG accessibility guidelines.
The site was built in Hebrew, with right-to-left text direction, and has been tested in the common browsers in their current versions.
The English version of the site is displayed left to right and meets the same accessibility requirements.
Adjustments made on the site
These are the adjustments actually in place on the site:
- Full keyboard navigation: every link, button and form field can be reached and operated without a mouse.
- A clear, visible focus indicator on every element selected with the keyboard.
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, which bypasses the navigation and goes straight to the content.
- Defined semantic structure and navigation regions (landmarks). The header, menu, main content, footer and every content region are labeled.
- A correct heading hierarchy, so the parts of a page can be navigated with a screen reader.
- Alternative text for images that convey information; decorative images are marked as such and are not read aloud.
- Text-to-background color contrast that has been measured and meets the Level AA requirement.
- Reduced motion: a user who has set a reduced-motion preference in the operating system gets the site without entrance animations and transitions.
- Forms with a persistent label on every field, and status messages that are announced to screen readers.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser’s zoom without content being cut off.
No “accessibility plugin” or external accessibility toolbar has been installed on the site. The adjustments were made in the site’s own code, because an external component is no substitute for genuine accessibility and is not required by the standard.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. These are the limitations we know of:
- Content and pages operated by third parties, such as a payment company’s secure payment page, are not under our full control, and their level of accessibility is the responsibility of their operators.
- Files and documents originating from external sources may not be accessible. If you come across such a document, contact us and we will provide its content in an accessible format.
We continue to improve the site’s accessibility on an ongoing basis, and every report helps us find problems that did not come up in our own testing.
Accessibility of the service
The accessibility adjustments required in the service and in the fleet are assessed for each individual request. If you need a particular adjustment, contact our accessibility coordinator (details below) before booking; we will check whether it is possible and reply to you.
